Conflict of Celaria
Welcome to our RP! Conflict of Celaria is a group RP that takes place in a setting that mostly consists of high fantasy, with steampunk elements, as well as magitek machinery. Seven nations, a massive sphere of pure magic in the center of the continent which has acted as a tool for resources, and the nations have been at peace. However, an unknown dark force known only as The Corruption enters the sphere and causes the magic to turn violent and destructive. As such, nations usually pay adventurers and mercenaries to deal with the threat, and if that isn't enough, they send their own military. Lately, the incidents have become more frequent, the dark creatures more powerful and appearing elsewhere than just the Great Sphere.
This RP is for many different aspects, a good bit of questing and combat, and the potential for a character to have sway when it comes to nations and it's civilians. This RP is stat based, and dice are used to settle most of the combat and some NPC swaying tactics. If you're not one for stats and you're the type of person that just enjoys tavern type RP, I have no issue with that, as long as you're not playing some super god that can wipe out the planet with a fart. If two people end up fighting and agree to do Tier 2/Logic Based, then go right ahead. Just know when I run events, they are stat based, and if you haven't made a sheet I may designate you temporary stat points for the fight. If you need help setting up your character and their stats, just let me or another GM/Mod know! We're here to help.
RULES
As with any RP, there are rules that will be followed. If any of the following rules are broken, action will be taken:
First Offense: You get a verbal warning.
Second Offense: You will be kicked from the room and warned again.
Third Offense: A one to two-week ban, or even permanent depending on the situation. If you receive a temporary ban and continue to demonstrate your shitty behavior after the ban is lifted, it will be permanent.
List of Rules
Rule 1: No God Modding. This means walking into this room and playing out a stupidly OP character, refusing to take hits, showing up with an all-powerful army. You get the picture. Please get your characters approved.
Rule 2: Keep OOC to a minimum. On slow days, it's not something that'll be heavily enforced. But if there's RP going on, don't jump in and spam OOC. If anyone, not just a mod, asks that an OOC room be opened up because of excessive OOC, please do it.
Rule 3: Do not mix IC with OOC. If something happens that you don't approve of, get with a moderator or GM to get it worked out. Do not blow up the chat stirring up Drama because of something you disapproved of. Hit up an admin in PM's, or make a thread on this website under admin help. If you interrupt chat with your OOC rage, you're going to be removed.
Rule 4: Show respect. Don't be an ass. This pertains to people who get upset because they disapprove of how others act out their characters, Raging over a GM ruling, etc. It's perfectly fine to disagree with someone, especially us GM's. As long as you act like an adult, everything will be fine.
Rule 5: Afk during major plot events: I know things happen. Life can bite you in the ass. Happens every now and again where you have to take off without a word? No problem. Your personal life comes before RP. However, if you're one of those people that likes to randomly wander off for large periods of time without a word? You abandon the fate of your character to the admin that is presiding over the event, and if you're consistently holding it up, you will be asked to step back or the GM will find a way to remove you.
Rule 6: To earn stats/perks/abilities, you must have your profile approved by a GM. Either post it on your profile, or make a sheet on our character approval section... or both, either works. You are, however, free to RP without doing so if you want to see how things go operate beforehand or just mingle.
Rule 7: This RP is intended for people 18 years of age and up. If it's discovered you are under 18 you will be removed.
Rule 8: Regarding Smut... I'm fine with it. I'd rather it not be the purpose, so keep it spaced and tasteful as much as you can. You may or may not be asked to take it to PM's. You can still earn exp for your RP, just keep up with your timestamps. DO NOT RP sexual situations with a minor. 16 years of age for smut is the limit. Having a background and history is fine, but RPing out a minor bumping uglies with an adult is gonna get you banned.
There are also certain things that can result in a permaban. Spamming chat, serious harassment of another player (IE: Death Threats). Use your head and you'll be fine.
With all this being said, please don't be afraid to challenge the admin staff if you feel something is wrong. You will not receive backlash if a disagreement is had - as long as you act like an adult. We're here to help, and we want everyone to enjoy themselves.
