The Shadow King

Five thousand years after the heroic deeds of Link and Zelda, a new threat emerges from the ancient and forgotten corners of Hyrule. Xal'thor, known as the Shadow King, was once a powerful sorcerer banished to the Shadow Realm by the combined efforts of the ancient sages.

 

During his imprisonment, Xal'thor's hatred and power grew, feeding off the dark energies of the Shadow Realm. Now, he has found a way to breach the barrier between realms and has returned to exact his revenge on Hyrule, aiming to plunge the world into eternal darkness

In a desperate bid for ultimate supremacy, he attempted to merge his essence with the Shadow Realm, a parallel dimension teeming with pure dark energy.

His ultimate goal is to merge the Shadow Realm with Hyrule, creating a world where he reigns supreme.
